Hi Everyone,

Thank you for all the responses.

The solution was to run the command
# grep network /etc/path_to_inst

This brought them all up.

Other command suggestions were prtdiag -v and prtconf, but
these only showed devices in use.

Just wondering if there is a command that shows all
available ethernet/fibre ports available in a V880
regardless of whether they have been 'plumb'ed.

O/S - Solaris 8
Server - Sun Fire V880.
