where can I get /usr/ccs/bin/ld ?
For Solaris 8 64 bit.

It is part of the Solaris distrubution itself, in a package called SUNWtoo 
(Programming Tools). This package can be found on your installation media in 
Solaris_8/Product. So do (e.g.)
# cd /cdrom/Solaris_8/Product
# pkgadd -d . SUNWtoo

There is also a 64-bit package you might need called SUNWtoox.

system      SUNWtoo        Programming Tools
system      SUNWtoox       Programming Tools (64-bit)

package, but will be in the developer section.
