	Hi Gang,

	This is an auto-summary message ;) .
Never ask any question about this issue on the list, but I want to be
sure anyone else could resolve by himself.

	The problem was :

gcc 3 used to work on my Solaris 9 sparc box.
One day, after some patchadd I think (I can't be sure...), I read :

make hello
gcc hello.c -o hello
collect2: ld terminated with signal 4 [Illegal Instruction], core dumped
make: *** [hello] Error 1

Truss told me I'm using Sun as and ld, so no problem around this.

	Version of patch 112963 was 05 .

	Applying 112963-10 resolve the issue.

	Thanks.

	Nicolas
