After replacing the disk board we were able to see the disks. Original Question: I have an E4500 with Solaris 8. The server was running fine and then the next morning when I came in I noticed that it was at the OK prompt (Poss. Pwr outage). When typing boot disk it comes back with Can't open boot device and when I do a probe-scsi-all it does not see the two disks. I replaced both internal disks, did a reset-all and still cannot see the disks. There is an amber light on next to the switch in front and an amber light lit on the clock board.
