Hi,

I think I finally figured this out whilst trying to solve a similar
problem later on. Once I built the machine from CDs using a keyboard
and monitor I found that it wouldn't boot after removing the keyboard.
I did a search and came up with the ttya-ignore-cd problem mentioned here :

http://www.sunmanagers.org/pipermail/sunmanagers/2003-March/020847.html

I'm fairly sure this was the reason why jumpstart was hanging as well as
I was jumpstarting without a keyboard. The acid test would be to
jumpstart the machine now I've changed the ttya-ignore-cd setting, but
the machine is now in production.

Cheers,

Alex..
