Thanks to Carl, Julie, Jim and Peter...it seems there's no ill affect
should you decide to remove NSCPcom manually, ie. you also might want
to ln -s /opt/SUNWns/netscape to /usr/dt/bin/netscape afterwards (Jim).

---------- original message ----------

Just installed Netscape 7.0 and everything works fine. However, 7.0
installation supposed to remove the old Netscape 4.76, which it did
not. My question is, can I safely remove NSCPcom manually via pkgrm?
or will the removal affect the system and some other unknown programs
which might depends on the original Netscape?

Thanks.
