SUMMARY: Veritas Media Write Err's (84)

From: David JL Rieger <drieger_at_olac.berkeley.edu>
Date: Tue Jan 14 2003 - 18:31:29 EST
Good day:

It turns out that after contacting Sun they had me:

  /usr/bin/mt [device path] status

which resulted in an i/o error. It was then diagnosed as a bad drive; today
it was replaced and am back-up and backing-up again.

Thanks to those who replied.
