SUMMARY: powering e-class hardware on/off from the console prompt

Thanks to Darren Dunham and Kristopher Briscoe for replies. I never
quite got it working when I needed to, but I'm not alone here.

This sums it up:

I too have seen the document.  I believe that it is the hardware manual
for the server.

I also tried it and never got it to work.  I wonder if it was never
working, required extra features, or if I was just doing something
completely wrong.

If it doesn't work, I just clicked on 'Enterprise servers', then
6000/5000/4000 systems hardware answerbook and typed in 'power'.
