Hi all,

The solution was quite easy .
Special thanks to Tim Evans who pointed to me that Sunos only supports Scsi
ID : 0,1,2,3 .
And since for some reason my disk was ID 4 , it didn't show in 'format'.
Apparantly there is no "drvconfig" in sunos and all has to be manually and
by compiling the KERNEL.

thanks to all who replyed so quicky :

Moti Levy
Michael Auria
Ric Anderson

Subject: Adding a disk to SUNOS 4.2

Hi admins ,

I am trying to install a new disk on a Sparc20 station Running SunOS 4.2.
I can see the disk in the OK prompt : probe-scsi .
But after a boot -r , I can't see it in the Os (format) .

Anyone knows the drvconfig equivalent for Sunos ?
or anything that should identify the disk ..

thank you.
