Hello all,

Thank to Mike Ekholm, Farshid Vaziri, Neill Mark, Jonathan Loh, Fred Hall
for their suggestions. Suggestions provided were to use analyze from format
prompt and one document from sunsolve was sent by Mike which provided me
most of the information. One script was also sent by Fred Hall, which was
from "NFS Server Performance and Tuning Guide".

The document from sunsolve:

INFODOC ID: 16735

My original question is here:

==========================================
Hi all,

We have an E450 server with Solaris 2.6 on it. We have configured Mirroring
for 5 disks (total of 10 in a mirror)using DiskSuite. The mirror is having
around 80 percent utilization. The root disk is not mirrored. We want to
upgrade the server to Solaris 8 and planning to install the OS on a separate
disk and detach the mirrors, configure second set of 5 disks in RAID5 and
copy the data from previous set of disks (first 5 disks).

The disks are not put sequentially in the slots and we want to Identify the
physical IDs ( 0 to 19 written on the slots) to Disk IDs like c0t0d0 etc.
What can I do to identify those disks. We don't want to loose the
configuration of mirrored metadevice configured on Solaris 2.6 ?

Thanks and I will summarize.

Regards
Deependra
