SUMMARY LVM in solaris 2.6

I got hammered with replies.

Here is one reply that fits the qustion for me.

The standard LVM on Solaris 8 ist the "Solaris Volume Manager (SVM)"
formerly called "Solstice Disksuite (SDS)".

SDS was a part of the "Solaris Easy Access Server" in Solaris 2.6 and 7.
SVM is now part of the base platform in Solaris 8 an 9.
You can install it with the initial installation.

Look for the Install-, User- and Admin-Guides by searching for SDS/SVM
under:
	http://docs.sun.com/
