Hi,
I ended up getting a work around of putting this client into
its own group and setting the perferences for the group to "verbose".

Hi,
I'm running Solistice Backup 5.5.3 build 262 on a Solaris 7 server.
I'm trying to back up two Solaris 2.6 clients that keep failing with
the following errors:

* devora:/u05 2 retries attempted
* devora:/u05 ! no output
* devora:/u06 2 retries attempted
* devora:/u06 ! no output

Each client, and the backup server have two ethernet connections.

The problem started occuring right after these two clients were put
behind a Checkpoint firewall. The firewall administrator said that
he opened up all of the ports on the firewall for the backup server.
He said he sees packets being dropped with the message

"Rule 0, unknown established TCP packet".

The thing that I find strange is that some of the filesystems pass on the
two clients, but many of them fail.

Each client, and the backup server have two ethernet connections, one
as a front end, and the other is on a backup network. As a test, I
put static routes on the client and the server so that all traffic
destined for the front end of the client would go over the backup network,
thus bypassing the firewall. When I do this, the backup works.

Has anyone else seen issues with backing up thru a CheckPoint firewall?
I opened a ticket with Sun and haven't recieved much feedback, and I'm
pretty desparate for ideas.

Thanks!
