SUMMARY of tftp problem

I am unable to do tftp puts from Solaris 2.5.1 servers to a Solaris 8 server.
Gets work fine.

/etc/inetd.conf (on the Sol 8 box) is configured to use udp6 in the tftp line.
Changing that to udp does not help.

A snoop on the Sol 8 server shows the tftp writes coming from the other
server, but no outbound packets. Tftp is in /etc/services on port 69 as it
should be.

Pings from the S2.5.1 server to the S8 server work fine. Traceroute from the
Sol 2.5.1 to the Sol 8 server works fine, but snoop on the Sol 8 server shows
'host unreachable' during the traceroute.

What am I missing?
