SUMMARY : DISPLAY setting in profile

Thanks to all who responded. 

General consensus is to use "who" command and process output to get source
hostname.

Sample:

DISPLAY=`who am i | cut -d"(" -f2- | cut -d")" -f1`; export DISPLAY
