Consensus was yes, but probably not supported.

I have part numbers from sunsolve

540-3719 or 540-3025 for 18g (1.6" spud) and 540-5044 / 540-2025 for 
36g.

I had a 540-4521 36g (1" from E450) that I swapped brackets and put in 
and it seemed to work (disks ; drvconfig ; devlinks) as it showed up in 
format listing.
