Thanks to those who responded. It seems other people are in the same boat. As people don't use it much the general consensus was to disable the service. What i ended up doing was finding info on patch 125952-05 which apparently resolved a repeat stop start. However i was on patch 125952-19 which obsoleted 125952-04 i had on the system. I therefore decided to patchrm 125952-19 and reapply it. This has now fixed the issue. I can bring the service online successfully and also init 6 when the service is online.
