Many thanks to all who replied. The info i was after was provided by 'Udo Grabowski' :- For the mpt driver (we have x86) you can use scsi-options=0x1ff8; in mpt.conf. You have to determine which driver operates your scsi HBA ..and Anthony D'Atri Sometimes you can fish the speed out of prtpicl -v, a value called target_speed or such. Peter Kunst was very kind and provided me with a tool called scsiinfo but i have not tested this as yet.
