Close a Solaris Port Fast SUMMARY

Thanks, everyone for the help. This answer here sums it up nicely.

The following will close connections in TIME_WAIT to 2 sec. I think the
default is 5 Mts.

ndd -set /dev/tcp tcp_time_wait_interval 2000

You might want to tune fin_wait_2 interval also

ndd -set /dev/tcp tcp_fin_wait_2_flush_interval 375000

Subject: Close a Solaris Port Fast

For both Solaris 9 and Solaris 10 is there a tunable parameter that
anyone knows of to close a port quickly and if there is what is the
default setting?
I didn;t see it but maybe I missed something.
