SUMMARY: How do I set minimum password length?

Looks like setting the /etc/default/passwd file
PASSLENGTH=8
is only for local files.

I was hoping this would work for NIS+ accounts but it doesn't seem
to be.

If anyone knows how to do this for NIS+ let me know.

Dave.

My original Question:

I'm running NIS+ is there a way to set the minimum password
length to be 8 characters for NIS+ accounts? Right now it seems to take
a min.
of 6 characters.

Thanks much!
