Hey folks,
Thanks to everyone that replied. I've decided not to upgrade
after all. Since everything is running fine and there is no
need of any new software which needs Solaris 10 then I won't
take the chance of upgrading. It wouldn't be wise due to
time and money! I will leave it to an admin who'll takeover
from me after my contract is up. They can have the pleasure
of doing it :-)
Here are some of the replies I got :

"Hi,
I wouldn't rush an update, you are quite ok, but think that
Solaris 10 have quite a few improvements at resource
management, so in the future, you might need it. But I would
plan it carefully and without rushing it."

 -Pablo.-

"Never change a winning team ;-)

-If you do not need any of the new features like zoning,
than stay
with Sol9 (keep patching the systems ;-). Start rolling out
Sol10 on
new machines. That's my tip!"

 -Joon

"no

if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

there are numerous paradigm/motiff changes with solaris 10.
it would be
a good idea to configure a test box in preparation for any
changes in
the future. at a certain point, someone will think, "what's
all this
about Solaris 10?"; "we should try this!"; "we must have
it"; or
a
needed program will require it."

-Michael Horton

"No! And wait until Solaris 10 will be supported by your
software vendor(s),
then upgrade. But this won't stop you playing with Solaris
10 on cheap AMD,
or even worst - Intel hardware."
 -Ioan

Thanks again.
