Thanks to the keen incisive bunch you are, I have received several suggestions and well-deserved criticisms of the script I posted. These were sufficient to warrant this post. Fixes include better tempfile handling, initial entropy source and patch testing. Thanks to all contributers. The few reports of the script not working do not seem to relate to anything about the script itself. You can get the latest version from http://halplant.com:88/software/Solaris/scripts/setup_random I have tested the changes alone. Further comments, corrections and criticisms are welcome.
