hello all, thanks to:
blymn@baesystems.com.au, <ddunham@taos.com>, <sraja@cinenet.net>,
<sagordon@brazil.library.uvic.ca>

the solution was to edit /kernel/drv/sd.conf and add entries for the other
luns, since by default solaris only probe for lun0.

in connection, i have the following question... in the format command, i
have something like this;

# format
c2t1d0s0 <inquiry data> c2t0d0s0
my question is what does that indicate? c2t1 and c2t0? 2 target id for one
disk?

hello all,

i have a disk that can be divided into several arrays and luns, since this
is a RAID device.
e.g.
            array 0
               |_____________________ lun 0, 5 GB
               | |_________ lun 1, 3 GB
               | |_________ lun 2, 4 GB
               |_____________________ lun 3, 2 GB
                           |_________ lun 4, 1 GB

my problem is this. The sparc system can detect the disk, no problem. but,
in /dev/dsk, i have only the following entries:
            c2t0d0s0
            c2t0d0s1
            c2t0d0s2
            c2t0d0s3
            c2t0d0s4
            c2t0d0s5
            c2t0d0s6
            c2t0d0s7

and using format, i tried to display the partition for the c2t0d0s2, i see
a 5 GB disk... and that's all that is there. the other partitions are not
visible.

for the above, since there are 5 luns, i was expecting to see:
           c2t0d0s2
           c2t0d1s2
           c2t0d2s2
           c2t0d3s2
           c2t0d4s2

what is wrong here? i am using QLA2100-A fibre channel card. it seems to me
that in NT, the 5 luns would be viewed as different disk, which is also the
expected behavior.
