Here is the Summary of replies I received.
Some of the SCSI card that would work with Ultra 5 are:
(1) Adaptec 2940 UW/OF (Open Firmware version)
the support is now drop, driver is only available until Solaris
2.6.
(2) LSI/Logic/Symbios 875 based HAB
This, i wasn't able to find any driver. (If someone has, or knows
where to get, pls. drop me a line.)
(3) From SUN, they recommend,
X6540A Dual Channel single-ended UltraSCSI host adapter,
PCI;
includes two 2 m SCSI cables
X5010A Single-channel, single-ended UltraSCSI host
adapter,PCI;
cables not included
X6541A Dual Channel differential UltraSCSI host adapter,
PCI;
includes two 2m SCSI cables
(however, delivery of product is around 30-40 days.)
