Hi,
My original question is at the bottom:
Here is the answer:
when you sniff a virtual interface you will get all the traffic for the
virtual interfaces on the physical interface they belong to as well as the
traffic for the physical interface itself.
==============================================
I had a question regarding snoop and virtual interfaces.
Let's say I have an interface hme0 and a virtual interface hme0:2
If I do a snoop -d hme0:2, should I see output regarding the actual
physical interface (hme0 that is)?
Thanks, will summarize,
Rich
