I did:
ok> devalias
...to see which device was matching my rootdisk a.k.a. c0t4d0.
This corresponded to "disk4". Also noted a "vx-rootdisk" set
to the same physical device. Veritas (vx) (3.0.4) is on this
server. So then I tried:
ok> setenv boot-device vx-rootdisk
ok> reset
This worked.
I'll assume that the following will also work but can't
try it now, since it's back up and users are back on:
ok> setenv boot-device disk4
------------------------------------------------------
My original distress call:
Enterprise 3500
Solaris2.6
Ran patch 103346-27 to fix a clock problem.
This flashed the prom.
Power cycled the machine.
Now says can't open boot device.
It's set to "disk"
diag-switch? is false (not sure if this matters)
Any help appreciated.
