hi all

thanks to all who responded so far!

the problem is still unresolved though..... i'll provide you a quick
list on what has been done and has not helped:

DMetoy.com (is set)
Djwww.etoy.com (is set)

/etc/hosts and /etc/hostname.le0 have both FQDN set.
/etc/resolv.com has domain set.

i have also tried to define $w etc explicitely, no help.

same goes for launching sendmail with the -fsystem@www.etoy.com.

/usr/lib/sendmail -d0.1 -bt < /dev/null gives the following output
(which looks fine to me):

root:/# /usr/lib/sendmail -d0.1 -bt < /dev/null
