Original:
It has been some time since trying to ufsrestore over the net.
Using Solaris 6
Host A
Tape drive and "ufsdump" save tape located on Host A
Can rewind the tape from Host B using rsh
At Host B
        When entering:
        ufsrestore rvf HostA:/dev/rmt/0
This hangs.
What am I missing ?

Answer:

Instead of the remote host name, place the IP address.

Thanks to:
Thomas Wardman - who got it right
ufsrestore is buggy at times, and can hang up.. It's DNS thing. Try using
the IP address of HostA instead or placing HostA in the /etc/hosts file.
