I got many 'out-of-office' replies and some me-toos but
finally, I got the answer from the Sun support :

EOL = End of Life
EOSL = End of service life

EOSL dates are 5 years from EOL date...

H/W EOL Date
  SPARCstation-10 30 December 1994
               EOSL Date was extended to 30 Nov 2000

  SPARCserver-1000 31 October 1995

  Ultra-1 03 October 1998

  Ultra-2 04 August 2000

OS EOL Date
  Solaris 2.5.1 22 Sept 2000

  Solaris 2.6 EOL has not been announced

I have ben asked to find out the de-support dates for the following hardware and
OS
releases. Search at Sun's web site has not yielded any fruitful result. Will
some kind
soul point me to the correct site ?
