Summary: Strange keyboard problems

The problem I was having with the Keyboard was caused by not having the right
software loaded.
WHen you buy the latest generation of machines there is a boot CD included in
with the binary license information.
You have to use this CD to start the initial install so that the appropiate
drivers are installed for the keyboards and network cards. Unfortunatly
This is not well documented.

Subject: Starnge keyboard problems

Hello list

I am in the process of installing a ULTRA60, they need to use Solaris5.1 on this
machine. When I boot the system I am getting an error message "loadkeys:
ioctl(KIOCLAYOUT): timer error " I need to resolve this tonight so any help as
how to fix this would be appreciated.

Thanks
