SUMMARY: Using SS20 hostID on an Ultra1 ( changing or borrowing hostID )

The concensus is: don't move and use a hostid from a Sparc 20 on an Ultra 1.

Matt pointed out a better solution (for my specific circumstance) than
to change the HostID:

[The NVRAM/HostID FAQ] should point you to 'hid'.

I've used the dynamic linking library version (uses LD_PRELOAD)
   to temporarily move licenses.

It turns out that I was able to return the license server back to operation,
so I didn't need to prepare/use hid. *phew*
