SUMMARY: E450 won't see EMC disk

Well this list is just as helpful as I remember it a few years ago.

The solution to the problem - which most of you identified - was the
/kernel/dvr/sd.conf file. This file seems to be used by the OS to identify
target/LUN pairs for attached devices. By default this file contains
entries with LUN=0. Upon inserting new entries with LUN=1-8, then rebooting
with "reboot -- -r", all the new devices showed up.

Does anyone know the history of this file?? Why does it match target/LUN
pairs, but seems to have no reference to controllers? This seems a bit
strange to me.

Many thanks to all those who responded, _some_ of which are listed below.
