Suggestions:

1) Try xhosts + on server

2) Stop using OpenGL, OpenGL east up quite a few X resources.

3) You're probably running out of file descriptors for the X server,
   Try adding 'set rlim_fd_cur=256' to /etc/system and reboot.

      Since this problem does not occur every day, only time will
