Sorry for the extremely late reply...
There may have been some confusion as I was also trying to use the
Yamaha as a reader. It appears from the replies that using on
pre-Solaris 2.6 requires you jumper the 512-byte block pins. This
may or may not be necessary to use it to cut cd's but once I
jumpered the pins I left them that way.
I went ahead and loaded the HYCD software and burnt a CD succesfully
but still can't use it properly as a 16X reader; which I should be
able to do.
