SUMMARY: cdrom on solaris7

Thanks all the response! Everyone ask to check if volmgt is running. But
this is not my problem.
After I load solaris7 use the cdrom, boot up the computer, I no longer
see the cdrom, I tried everything. probe-scsi show cdrom is there. When
stop volmgt, manually mount cdrom, said device is not there. I suspect
cdrom is bad at this point (nobody will believe it because I use it load
system 1 sec. ago). Yes, it is cdrom bad. Replace it, works fine.
Anyone has idea what is wrong with that cdrom and how it happens?
