SUMMARY: Boot Ultra 250 from A1000

Well, I figured it out on my own (it's amazing what a good night's sleep can
do for the brain). I was a bit surprised I didn't get a single response
from this list or SSA-Managers, am I the only person that is attempting this
?

My problem was that when installing Solaris onto LUN 0 of the A1000, I
selected whatever options to allow the boot-device PROM setting to be
changed. Big mistake ! I should have changed it myself.

The value that the Solaris installation program set was

/pci@1f,4000/scsi@4/disk@5,0:a

what it should have been is

/pci@1f,4000/scsi@4/disk@5,0

and now it works!

thanks anyway,
