Greetings,
I would like to extend my thanks to the many sys admins that pitched in
their two cents on my issue. To summarize, I have three drives that are dead
on machines that essentially should not be shut down. I needed to get the
serial numbers from the drives in order to get replacements. Suggestions
ranged from physically opening up the cases and looking at the numbers while
the units were in use to a handy utility called scsiinfo which was
contributed by Sebastian Benoit [benoit@Mathematik.Uni-Marburg.de]
