The basic answer is NO !

It's possible to hook up a SCSI JAZZ or Zip drive to a sparc, create a
UFS on it, and use it on the SPARC. It's also possible to do this on a
x86 Solaris. The problem is related to the 'endianess' difference
between SPARC and X86 processor. A UFS created on one architecture won't
be seen by the other architecture.

A different way a doing this, recommended by a lot of you guys, is to
use a FAT filesystem and use the pcfs filesystem type on the Unix side
or the mtools utility.

I really don't like this idea because I lose any kind of security,
ownership, etc...
