Many thanks to all that responded, especially:

The CPU is an old revision(501-4791-01), I called SUN and they are replacing
it.

This is from Roop Kumar's message:

Ultra2 systems having 200MHz UltraSPARC CPU Modules may fail with;
panic[cpu0]/thread=0x507a3da0: CPU0 Ecache SRAM Data Parity Error:
      AFSR 0x00000000 00408000 AFAR 0x000001ff 30000000
              - or -
panic[cpu0]/thread=0x507a3da0: CPU0 Ecache SRAM Data Parity Error:
      AFSR 0x00000000 0040C000 AFAR 0x000001ff 30000000
              - or -
panic[cpu0]/thread=0x50965260: CPU0 Writeback Data Parity Error:
      AFSR 0x00000000 00804000 AFAR 0x000001ff 30000000
Root Cause has been attributed to CPU and SRAM components on the 200MHz
Module.

PART NUMBERS AFFECTED:

Part Number Description
----------- -----------
501-3041-05 (or below) 200MHz Module, 1MB, 5NS, Ultra 2
501-4791-02 (or below) 200MHz Module, 1MB, 5NS, Ultra 2

Original question:

Hi Sun Gurus,

I have an ULTRA 2 running Solaris 2.6 that is panicing and dumping
intermittently. It panics about 3 times a day. The error in messages is:

Aug 11 13:54:21 lightening unix: panic[cpu0]/thread=0x61a13900: CPU0 Ecache
SRAM
 Data Parity Error: AFSR 0x00000000 80400040 AFAR 0x000001ff 30000000

prtdiag -v looks like:

System Configuration: Sun Microsystems sun4u Sun Ultra 2 UPA/SBus
(UltraSPARC
200MHz)
System clock frequency: 100 MHz
Memory size: 384 Megabytes

The machine has the 2.6 recommended patches dated 6/23 installed.

I tried replacing the CPU, memory, system board, and all SBUS cards except
the video. Also, I put the boot disk from a different ULTRA 2 and it still
does the same thing.

I checked sunsolve and the FAQs to no avail.

What really worries me is that 4 more ULTRA 2's have begun panicing with the
same error in the past week.

Any help would greatly appreciated.
