Hello,

I haven't received any responses yet, just someone probing my machine,
but was able to find the problem. The printing system in Solaris 2.6
has change from Solaris 2.5 and it turns out that inetd now listens for
print requests. I was missing the following line from /etc/inetd.conf

printer stream tcp nowait root /usr/lib/print/in.lpd in.lpd
