Hello Sun Managers,
Thanks for the timely responses. I could solve the problem
with your great suggestions. First of all, I missed a point here
when I first posted this question. One of my colleagues had installed
the sendmail patch ID 103594-15. He told me about this after I
posted this.
The error below was coming because the patch was for an older version
of sendmail and we were running a newer version of sendmail on the
system which were both incompatible.
As many of you suggested, I uninstalled the patch using
backuoutpatch,
and then treid to use the sendmail. It worked fine. I also have
installed the latest ersion of sendmail on the system and it seems
that the system is in good shape now.
