SOLUTION:
==========

   In short the solution was the addition of a patch (104595-04). But it
should be noted that this patch is only necessary for systems with CPU's
with speeds greater than or equal to 248 MHz (Actually I was not able to
find out the exact CPU speed at which the patch is necessary - it is
greater than 168 and less than 248).
