[How to use the TAB char in a Regular Expression ?]

That was quick! Sometimes we just try to hard. Turns out a simple sed
command using the TAB key (dho!) does the trick. I had a few people
suggest using 'TAB' as the search string but it didn't work for me in
Korne Shell. Anyways this works:

        i.e. sed 's/ //g' ...

        -the space of course is generated by the TAB key
