Please post a summary to sun-managers if you get any useful information.

In the book "Fortran 90/95 Explained", Metcalf & Reid, Oxford U. Press,
1996, you will find at the end of each chapter a comprehensive list of
these differences.

Hope this helps,

Mike Metcalf

Hi Pravin
You may find some differences in a book with the name:
Programming in Fortran 90 : a first course for engineers and
scientists
 Author : Smith, I. M.
Bye
Hossein

Get a book on F90; I recommend Metcalf and Reid, but there are
many available.

Some new features:
        Dynamic storage allocation
        User-defined types (data structures)
Modules (incorporate data, with hiding, plus procedures)
        Array notation ( like A = B + C, where these are arrays)

Look at Fortran FAQ, available in many places on Internet. I tried a
simple converter convert.f90, available at ftp://jkr.cc.rl.ac.uk/pub/MandR

I know of such a (french) book, because I wrote a preface for it!!
It is:

C. ABERTI: Fortran 90. Initiation a partir du Fortran 77

pulished by S.I. (Serie Informatique) EDITIONS, in MENTON (France,
        Alpes-Maritiimes, 06). Date: 1992.

But I don't know if the book is still available...

Yours sincerely,
