SUMMARY:[Fwd: Help needed with DNS & sendmail V8.9]

Yesterday, I sent out the message shown below asking for help.

A number of kind folks responded, but none came up with the fix.
My problem was that about 6 of my PC clients were being reported
as "(may be forged)" when sending email.

Much to my chagrin, I recently realized that duplicate entries
in /etc/hosts was enough to make sendmail decide that they
were not to be trusted. After commenting out the incorrect
entries in the /etc/hosts file everything worked as designed!
We have met they enemy, and they is US (me)!

To all who tried to help, Have a GREAT weekend!
