Recently, I sent out a request trying to find out how to supply a login banner for ftp, telnet, etc. Most of you responded with using tcp_wrappers to solve this problem. Although a splendid idea, I did not know where to get this set of tools.
Thanks to Jamie Lawrence [jal@thirdage.com] who pointed me to the site: ftp.win.tue.nl:/pub/security/ for the answer. Because I am not the only person looking for such a package, I decided to mail this group with the site information. This site has a number of security tools including the tcp_wrappers (version 7.6).
So, consider this an FYI on these tools (keep it in your archive),
