SUMMARY: Fixing Destroyed NIS+ table

I didn't really get any ansers to this. In my original post I
mentioned inadvertantly adding entries to my host table that shouldn't
have been there and then trashing the table because some machines
running Xkernels no longer came up on the same domain.

While I could have used the commands to dump the table or print out
the names of the fields, I would have had to do this before destroying
everything. I couldn't find documentation saying how to recreate the
standard tables.

What I did was simply recreate the server using "nisserver -r -d
ab.cd.edu" and then used nispopulate to recreate the table entries -
with the offending hosts removed. This struck me as a slightly wacked
way to go about it as I never brought the server down and thought that
the system would at least give a warning about trashing the NIS+
server, but it didn't even complaind.
