SUMMARY 2: 2 Headed CDE with strange twist...

Jason, as I stated before, the answer to your problem is to add the
options "left" and "right" to the line in the Xservers file....

:0 Local local_uid@console root /usr/openwin/bin/X -dev /dev/fb0 right
-dev /dev/fb1 left

This will accomplish your two headed CDE that acts as one monitor and one
desktop. No commercial software is needed, as we done this many times.
