I reported problems accessing the archive at Louisiana Tech. My problem
was an outdated URL. Instead of using http://www.latech.edu/sunman.html
I was using http://aurora.latech.edu/sunman.html which I had bookmarked
since whenever. I looked in the FAQ where the correct URL is referenced
but I saw latech, and I did get to an archive, so . . . did you know that
lack of attention to detail is the cause of 99% of all known {insert your
favourite accident type}.
To quote the FAQ (to make up for ignoring it)
Dataman Benelux in the Netherlands hosts a "fuzzy" full-text index of
the Sun-managers mailing list at: http://www.dataman.nl/cgi-bin/sunmanagers
I looked there, but I find it less useful than LaTech's version because they
index everything posted, not just summaries, so you tend to drown in search
hits.
