Thanks to all who responded. I should not have posted
this to this list. I have been suffiently reprimanded
by several folks, and I apologize for the posting.
I am going to summarize (as I promised) even though it
does not involve a Sun System, although the answers do
apply, none of them worked. I actually had to re-boot
the system this morning and the file system mounted fine.
Please don't send me hate mail for this
as well, as I am going to remove myself from this list.

Check the nfsd and rpc daemons.
Create a new mount directory and try mounting there, to
prove if it is local or not.
Make sure it isn't an automount point.
Check on server what has been exported and who can mount.
Ping each system with hostnames.
Look at /etc/export and /etc/dfs/dfstab.
Look at /etc/mnttab or /etc/mtab.
