Original question:

Dear SMs,

How can I block someone from snooping my network traffic of my
system?

Currently they can view the interactive sessions between my system and
a remote one and gain valuable information.

Maybe there are some utilities to addon/replace tcp/ip?

Thanks

Answer:

* Use the secure shell; http://www.datafellows.com/f-secure/
(commercial), http://www.ssh.fi/ (original free version),
http://www.cs.hut.fi/ssh/.
* Subnet the network (LAN) with all HOT machines in a small subnet.
 This will render the snoop useless for these machines.
* Install smart HUBS or switches in the LAN.
* Use kerberos.

Thanks to *
